BANGKOK, 14 October 2010 (NNT) - The Flood Relief Center has warned the people in Surat Thani and Nakorn Sri Thammarat to watch out for possible mudslides. The center is also prepared to operate a weekend market to promote local products in order to help flood-victims after the water levels have receded.
According to flood relief center director, Apirak Kosayothin, some provinces in the South remain under the risk of mudslides, especially Surat Thani and Nakorn Sri Thammarat. For safety reason, people in the two provinces have been evacuated. As for the north-eastern part of the country, water continued to recede.
